Love in the form of Chocolate
Happy Birthday Ally!!!A while ago our dear sister Ally dropped her phone in the toilet, and lately it hasn't been working very well.... go figure. So my mom and I decided it would be fun to go get her a new phone for her birthday. We had this brilliant idea to switch her phone service over to her new phone and just tell her that mom had her phone turned off because she texts soooo much. Ha! So she's been begging to go get a phone, and my mom has been genius about coming up with reasons why she can't and leading Ally on. So tonight at her birthday party I gave her her present and told her since we didn't have time to go get her a new phone today we just got her some "chocolate" instead. Cute little Ally believed me and was so surprised when she opened it and realized I meant chocolate as in phone chocolate. It was fun and she was thrilled! Yay! Happy big 14 Ally! Watch out, only 2 more years 'til she's driving and on the dating scene!

Annaca the AMAZING!
Hey Hot Stuff!
I just wanted to post something for and about Anni because she is Brilliant and Amazing and THE BEST! She is the one that motivated us and helped us to set up this blog. We would certainly all perish for sure without her! And since Mother's Day is this Sunday I think she should be recognized too because she is also a mother. :) She is such a wonderful mother! Annaca is extremely smart, talented and driven. She is such a great example, and I am so grateful and glad that she is my older sister because she inspires and motivates me to be better. She makes seemingly impossible things happen, and does it with such ease and grace! I want to grow up and be like her! She has helped me out so much, especially lately with registering and things, getting ready for college etc. I know that I can call her anytime and ask her ridiculous questions I should know the answer to and she will patiently help me out. I know I can always depend on her she is so reliable and responsible and resourceful! I could go on forever. I LOVE YOU ANN! Mommy Dearest
We wanted to give a shout out to Mom since Mother's Day is upon us. Mom, you are our inspiration, you keep us going, you are the glue that holds us all together. You are always there to listen to our stories, accomplishments, needs and complaints, and to offer support, counsel and advice. You keep us grounded and you lift us up. Thanks for all of this and more. We truly love you and we know you love us back. You are the BEST. Happy Mommy's Day!!

We are all excitedly awaiting the arrival of our first grandson!! That's right, Austin and Laura are expecting a little boy in August. We've already started buying everything blue and the granddaughters are excited to have a little baby to take care of. BTW, doesn't Laura look just adorable! This is how every woman wishes to look when she is pregnant, CUTE CUTE CUTE!!

Sweet Ally Girl
We have to give a shout out to our sweet Ally Girl. Ally is the nicest gal and she's always willing to watch and play with her little nieces (much thanks from Annaca). Sadie and Bizzy absolutely adore her and want to be just like her (and I'm sure Austin and Laura's new little guy will also be a big fan :)). Ally, you're the best. Thanks for helping us all out and keeping Annaca sane!!
D-Week for Abbs
This last week was D-Week at Dixie High School. So for Abbie, being her senior year, this is quite a historic event for her (and us).
Here's Abbs painting the "DIXIE" during the Bucket Run.
Looks good, guys....you missed a spot :)
Oh Dixie, how we love thee!! Here she is at the Diamond D Assembly, where she was awarded her Diamond D. Abbs, were so proud of you and all your high school accomplishments. Happy graduation time!
Hospital Pals

See these two good lookin' guys? Bob and Brother-in-Law, Dave, had back and neck surgery, respectively, back to back a couple of weeks ago. Bob was the brave one and went under the knife first for his back. A few of hours later, learning that Bob had pulled through, Dave too dove into the surgical pool for a neck repair by the same Doc. They got to be on the same floor to recover and enjoyed leisurely walks with assistance from their trusty walker and IV pole! Good job guys, we're sure proud of you. Happy mending!!
